Last updated: February 14, 2026Read termsResponsible disclosure

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CurrInfo Innovation website (the “Site”). The Site is operated by CurrInfo Innovation (“CurrInfo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Scope of these Terms

These Terms apply only to the Site and any content made available through it, including research notes, documentation pages, downloads, and related materials (collectively, “Content”). These Terms do not govern any separate products, services, software, APIs, or platforms that CurrInfo may offer now or in the future (which may be subject to separate agreements).

2. Eligibility and Authority

You may use the Site only if you are legally capable of forming a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Informational Use Only; No Advice; No Reliance

The Site and Content are provided for general informational purposes only.

  • No advice. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, financial, investment, tax, regulatory, security, engineering, or other professional advice.
  • No reliance. You agree not to rely on the Site or Content for decisions that could result in loss, liability, or harm. You are solely responsible for verifying any information and for all decisions and actions you take.
  • Not an offer. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation regarding any asset, security, or financial instrument.
  • Forward-looking statements. The Site may include forward-looking statements or statements of intent. These reflect current views and may change without notice. Actual outcomes may differ materially.

4. Changes to the Site and Content

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site (in whole or in part), and may update or remove any Content, at any time and without notice. We are not responsible if any part of the Site is unavailable at any time.

5. Intellectual Property; Proprietary Rights; Limited Permission

The Site and Content are proprietary and are owned by CurrInfo or our licensors, and are protected by intellectual property laws.

  • All rights reserved. Except as explicitly permitted by these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
  • Limited permission. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to access and view the Site and Content for your internal, informational use.
  • Restrictions. You may not, and may not permit others to: (a) copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, license, or exploit any Site or Content except as expressly permitted by us in writing; (b) create derivative works of the Site or Content; (c) frame, mirror, or archive the Site (or substantial portions of it); (d) use any CurrInfo name, logo, trademark, or branding without our prior written consent; or (e) remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
  • Linking. You may link to publicly available pages on the Site, provided you do so in a way that is fair, does not imply endorsement, and does not misrepresent your relationship with CurrInfo.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Site.

You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, or systems;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network (except as explicitly permitted under Section 9);
  • introduce malware, harmful code, or perform denial-of-service or similar attacks;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by automated traffic that degrades availability;
  • use the Site to violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights or privacy rights;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

7. Automated Access, Crawling, and Indexing

We may permit automated access for legitimate indexing and discoverability, subject to strict conditions.

  • Permitted indexing. You may use automated tools to crawl or index publicly accessible pages solely to create search indexes or discovery tools, provided such activity is reasonable, does not degrade performance, and respects any published technical controls (including robots directives).
  • Prohibited automation. Automated access is prohibited if it (a) materially impacts Site performance or availability; (b) attempts to bypass technical restrictions, rate limits, or access controls; (c) is used to replicate, mirror, or reproduce substantial portions of the Site or Content; or (d) is used for competitive dataset creation, bulk extraction, or any use not strictly necessary for indexing.
  • We may block. We may block, throttle, or restrict automated access at any time, with or without notice.

8. AI / Machine Learning Training Prohibition

Except where we expressly authorize in writing, you may not, and may not permit any third party to use the Site or Content (in whole or in part) to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, or improve any machine learning or artificial intelligence system, model, or dataset, or to create or expand any dataset, corpus, embeddings store, vector database, or other structured representation intended for AI/ML use.

This restriction applies regardless of access method (manual, automated, scraping, crawling, mirroring, API extraction, or otherwise) and regardless of whether the output is public or private.

9. Security Reporting and Responsible Disclosure

If you believe you have discovered a vulnerability or security issue affecting CurrInfo systems or assets, you must report it through our responsible disclosure channel and avoid public disclosure until coordinated.

  • Reporting channel. Use the security contact listed on the Site or email security@currinfo.com.
  • No active exploitation. You may not exploit vulnerabilities beyond what is necessary to confirm existence, and you must avoid accessing or modifying data that is not your own.
  • No disruption. Do not perform testing that risks availability or harms users or systems.
  • No public disclosure without coordination. Public disclosure must be coordinated with CurrInfo.

10. Third-Party Links and Resources

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, security, availability, or practices. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.

11. Submissions and Communications

If you send us messages, documents, feedback, or other information (collectively, “Submissions”) through the Site or via email:

  • Non-confidential by default. Submissions are considered non-confidential unless we expressly agree in writing otherwise (for example, under a separate NDA).
  • Permission to use. You grant CurrInfo a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate your Submissions for the purpose of operating, improving, and developing our work, without compensation to you.
  • No obligation. We are not obligated to respond, to maintain, or to implement any Submission.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information (if any) through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal information, the Privacy Policy controls.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CurrInfo disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site or Content will be accurate, complete, current, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) CurrInfo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or Content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; and (b) in all cases, CurrInfo’s total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will not exceed CAD $100 (or, if greater, the minimum amount required by applicable law).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CurrInfo and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of another party.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Site, CurrInfo, or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 17.

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Nova Scotia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
